THE DESIGNER
My name is Makeda Firmin, and I graduated from the high school of
Art and Design in the heart of NYC! I also currently attend ART CENTER College of Degisn, which is All the way across the country from where I originated from.
I have an obsession with colors and fashion, and throughout my life, I have felt like a Misfit!
Because of my weird taste in music, food, clothes, and hair, it would be a struggle to find friends. But on those tough days, I can remember one person who once told me:
"You Stand Out because you are Out-standing. People who are willing to embrace who they are, have to deal with the cruel world 200 times more than any normal person."
I am MiSS FIT. I have embraced my fashion sense to the fullest and will continue to do so. Creating products that are unique and authentic is my true path to expressing my uniqueness and quirk to life. Although the famous "Gr00vy Woerms" sound like a grammatical error, they are a unique species of the well known “worms on a string”, all differing in eye colors and eye sizes, and are raised at an early stage to embrace their quirks and fuzzy personalities.
